On 2 September, 2003, 16-year-old, Sarah Marie Johnson shot and killed her parents in their Bellevie, Idaho home. She shot her mother in the head while she was asleep in bed. She then shot her father in the chest as he was taking a shower. Her motive was that her parents prohibited her from dating a 19-year-old. She was found guilty and sentenced to two life terms.
