Although John Wayne Gacy’s friends, family, and neighbors constantly complained about the foul smells coming from his home, they still regularly attended the theme parties Gacy would hold. One party of his even had a staggering 300 guests. His highest attended parties were a luau themed party and a Western themed party. The killer enjoyed the attention he would get from people either attending them or discussing them. To him, feeling a sense of importance in his community was crucial. However, little did the guests know that they were standing just feet away from the horror that was John Wayne Gacy’s crawlspace.
