On 28 August 2015 body of 16 years old Karina Zalesova was found in a mansion that was owned by wealthy parents of Karina’s ex-boyfriend 15 years old Mark Konkov. Karina and Mark broke up a couple of months ago but they continue to communicate. On the day of her death Karina was attending Mark’s birthday party. When everyone left the mansion Karina was severely beaten and stabbed three times in the neck and three times in the arm. After killing the girl Mark called his friend and bragged about the murder and how Karina begged on her knees not to kill her. Before the crime he often threatened to kill Karina, but she didn’t take his words seriously. Mark’s father, a prominent local businessman tried to do everything to protect his son from being arrested, including claims that Karina asked his son to kill her because she was suicidal. But, despite his father’s efforts, Mark Konkov was arrested and charged with Karina’s murder.
