A Jonesboro, Arkansas, youth pastor, Tony Waller, 39, has been sentenced to life in prison for rape. Waller confessed to raping two girls, ages 10 and 11, at the church where he worked.

Last year, Waller’s wife was looking for a file on the family laptop, and she found a folder of Tony’s that was full of child porn. Police say that Waller had about 400,000 images and videos of girl’s under the age of 11. 

His wife had called the police after finding the folder and Waller admitted that he has had a sex addiction. During this time he worked as the youth pastor at the Jonesboro First Assembly of God. He had been there since 1999. He was also a bus driver for the Jonesboro Public Schools.

As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, police found that Waller was a predator as well. He had installed hidden cameras into the churches bathrooms and also into the home the Church owned across the street.

Waller had originally pleaded not guilty to rape, child porn possession and voyeurism, but he changed his plea to guilty. Waller took the stand in his own defense, to try and sway the Judge from giving him life in prison. He explained the Judge and the rest of the courtroom that he suffered from a sex addiction, and he had been suffering for over 20 years. The Judge didn’t believe his story. The Judge told him that there was not enough evidence of an addiction, and that Waller was just another run-of-the-mill child predator. He sentenced Waller to life, saying that he was still a threat to children.
